For Saturday, sunny skies are promised with lows in the mid to upper 40s and high in the low to mid 70s.

Sunday, the clouds will thicken late in the afternoon mostly south of the Tennessee River and bring a chance for showers to the rest of the Tennessee Valley Sunday night and Monday morning.

As a couple fronts move toward, through, and back through the Tennessee Valley next week, the high temperatures will waver from 69 on Monday to 80 on Tuesday and Wednesday, before the week ends with another cold front.\
