During severe weather broadcasts, I would rather see the entire radar image and not have portions of it blocked by the oversized weather logo. We live 50mi. north of Huntsville and channel 31 is where we get our weather info. I'd like to be able to see what's headed toward Winchester, TN, while you're focused on Huntsville.

Brad - It is so good to read an article on "climate change" by someone I trust and respect. I firmly believe that any changes to our climate are not manmade, but are the result of the normal flucuations caused by increased or decreased solar activity. Thank you for your common sense approach to this subject, which has become a political pawn to levy taxes and increase control over our daily lives. I hope our members in Congress will do the right thing and vote to defeat this hoax. Too bad that another local meteorologist has bought into the MMGW theory. I certainly have less respect for him because of his stand. Thanks again.

Haha . . . good point! My brother (who is super intelligent but has no interest in the science of weather) once pointed this out to me. He read one of my weather blogs and commented something to the general effect of: "Too much gobbledygook. I only understand `rain'. Try to say it more to the point, or else put all the really technical stuff as a footnote at the bottom." Haha . . . I'm still working on it.

I could sleep through a hurricane, tornado, earthquake - you name it. But I woke up at 0130 to watch this launch - possibly the last nighttime launch in the history of the Space Shuttle. But .... it was scrubbed. Next try? Friday.

It's easy to explain. There's a 50% chance of rain every day - it'll either rain, or it won't. Then you'll always be accurate. Not sure how that'd work with the "3 Degree Guarantee" though ...

Brad....This is what makes you DIFFERENT as a weather forecaster....you get to the point without going into "deep explanations." I'm sure the largest majority of your viewers don't give a rip about how "this and that will combine to make this and that happen." We just want to know if/when it's gonna rain, snow, be stormy, etc., along with how hot/cold it's gonna be. Thanks for doing such a GREAT job!!! I wonder how many people took their cats for a walk after your forecast last night?? HA!!!
